GORGON ( An 8 minute animated short that I made as a graduation project)
A petty thief takes shelter in a rundown apartment building to hide from the policeman chasing him. But none of them expects what awaits them inside…
Being attached to old Hammer horror films, the original Twilight Zone and Lovecraftian short stories I wanted to make a haunted house film set in the eclectic interior of a typical turn of the century apartment building of Budapest.
I’ve lived in a house like this all my childhood and had been inspired by it’s creepy atmospheres of sculpted mascarons and crumbling corridors ever since. I hope this film will be an interesting thrill ride for every viewer, that might offer a different take on the well established genre of the Haunted House movie.
The film has yet to be released online but I thought this set of gifs might peak your interest ;)
I consider myself a bit of a true crime fan, so last year when I was asked to do a page in Savagezine a publication by BPZINES, I made this one page mini comic.
I have a longer form murder mystery story in mind but I haven’t started to break it down to comic fomat yet.
